Recycled Pencils?

At Salvage America we're always thinking about ways to make the world greener. Too bad we didn't think of this:

"Kerry Davis, a 23-year-old environmental studies major at San Francisco State, is the CEO of O’BON, an environmentally friendly school supplies company that uses recycled materials to create pencils, folders and notebooks.

O’BON’s top product is their eco-logically designed pencil, made from recycled paper and a non-toxic, water-based glue used to protect the graphite and hold the pencil together. The paper is wrapped around the graphite center 36 times creating a much more durable pencil than traditional pencils made from incense-cedar wood." Please continue reading.

Isn't it amazing what you can do with Elmer's Glue?
